Adriatica Village

6602 Mediterranean Dr, McKinney, TX 75070

Adriatica Village is one of the most popular and versatile engagement session locations in all DFW and for good reason. With its European-inspired architecture, open fields, hills, and hidden corners, every spot offers something unique and romantic. The views here are truly breathtaking, making it a timeless favorite among my couples. In spring and summer, you’ll find wildflowers and lush greens that add a dreamy touch, while fall and winter bring soft tones and golden light. This location is perfect year-round, but since it’s a busy area, I recommend scheduling your session on a weekday afternoon, or my personal favorite, early Sunday morning for the quiet, peaceful atmosphere it offers, although blue & golden hour is hard to beat!

A.W. Perry Homestead is one of my personal favorite engagement locations, it has such a special charm. This hidden gem offers a beautiful variety of backdrops, from the rustic farm setting and intimate gazebo to the charming garden and classic Victorian-style home. It brings a romantic, intimate, southern-meets-western vibe that feels both timeless and cozy. Because it’s tucked within a neighborhood, the light here is soft and dreamy, perfect for those golden, glowing tones. I recommend scheduling sessions to end about 30 minutes before sunset for the most flattering light. Both early mornings and late afternoons work beautifully, especially during spring, summer and fall when the greenery and blooms are at their best.

Spanning hundreds of acres, it offers a wide variety of natural backdrops, from winding trails, creeks, open fields, evergreens and elevated hills. My favorite spot is right near the entrance, where you’ll find rolling fields, dense evergreen trees, and the perfect hills to watch the sunset fade into blue hour. The light here is absolutely magical, the kind that makes photos feel cinematic and dreamy. For couples who love the outdoors and want a setting that feels peaceful, vast and effortlessly romantic, Arbor Hills is one of the best choices you can make.

Your Wedding Venue

Location chosen by you! - travel, permit & entry fee may apply
Many wedding venues include the option to schedule a photo session on-site before your big day, and it’s an opportunity worth taking! Not only are most venues naturally photogenic, but it’s also a wonderful way to explore the property together and get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding. Using your venue for your engagement session can help you visualize your day and capture the romance of your story in the very place you’ll say “I do.” While it’s not necessary for your photographer to visit the venue beforehand, many couples find that it helps them feel more relaxed and familiar with the space, making the wedding day flow even more smoothly.

When it’s time to plan your shoot, I’ll help you choose the setting that best fits your vision, outfits, and the story we’re telling together. If you have a meaningful place in mind, where you first met, had your first date, or shared a special moment, let me know. I always love adding something personal to your session.
